Case CS01411-2
Caffeine could affect how deep your sleep goes. Many people are facing fatigue problem even after 8 hours of sleep.
You may like to cut down on caffeine and see if it helps.
This client came to @bodyinc around end of 2020. Her sleep was always 4 to 5 hours at max after she gave birth to her child in 2013. She found it difficult to go back to sleep whenever she woke up.
Every possible method that might help insomnia, she tried. TCM medication, Singapore General Hospital checks, melatonin supplements and so on all didn’t work. Usually she would wake up energetic but after lunch she would doze off.
After her detox treatment with Body Inc. in 2020, she started sweating (usually she didn’t) after exercise. She never felt so good before. Her detox diet was strictly zero caffeine. She used a Fitbit to track her sleep. It helped her understand her body better. She found that after avoiding caffeine, it really helped her go into deep sleep. She used to drink green tea in the morning and coffee in the day. Now without caffeine, she could have deep sleep from 10pm to 5am.
If you have insomnia problems, also do find out if it is due to emotional stress.
No matter, physiological changes like diet and exercise could aid in better quality sleep. Food is medicine, and remember caffeine is not a food, it is a drug.
