Low platelet, Female, 44 yr old.

Updated: Mar 18, 2022

On 10 May 2019, this client was referred by a friend to Body Inc. She had low blood platelet and was prescribed B12 & iron for years but didn't get to pass the reading of even 100 (normal range is 140 - 440).

Her recent blood test results on 10 Apr 2019 showed her platelet was at 97 (‪normal range 140-440‬). MCV which refers to the size of red blood cells was at 105 (78-98). MCHC (The amount of hemoglobin relative to the size of the cell (hemoglobin concentration) per red blood cell) was at 30 (31-36). Specialist wanted her to do bone marrow test to further check what was wrong but she didn’t wish to. She often had very bad water retention. Since young she bruised easily and hands and feet also had numbness.

She also had constipation and ended up with very bad piles which needed surgery. She loves to drink brandy, sake, 白酒。Crave for pancake, cakes. She hates rice, likes noodles, beehoon, chee chiong fan.

Her digestive system obviously had problems. I recommended detox and nourishment program for her and advised on what to change in her diet and what to avoid. That was 2 months ago.

Last weekend, I received good news from her that her blood test report on 16 July 2019 showed that her platelet went to her highest ever at 118 (‪normal range is 140-460‬).

It is not at normal range yet but she was very happy with the results as she never had it pass 100. Her MCHC is normal now at 31.8. MCV has reduced to 100.5 (76-97). Still need improvement, but it was indeed a happy news for both of us.

Diet, is number 1 when it comes to health. There is no magic pills. By eating right, we can achieve good energy and health. Let's all start with food first.

Food is medicine.

Ps: thanks to this client, for asking my staff to convey this to me and sharing your results. This will inspire those who thought their case is hopeless to start changing their diet and lifestyle towards a healthier one.
